Swealer schwimmerin- pintura de Jaime Morera

LITTLE DID SHE KNOW...
Seldom was she seen
And through thickets of snow
She did fearlessly flee
Like a fly with a bow
Thrusting
into daunting, a sea.

In such a brilliant flight
Our knees numbed more or less

They all summoned a plight
As she clung to her dress:
-Hold fast flaunty night,
You shan't let us digress-

Pitch blue; water spewed
When it all went oh so still
She stood valiant and true
Up to last second's thrill
Her's alone, the undaunted crew
Tethered onto the ocean's will

Girl dived brisk as a shot
Stroked waves with arms grand
Shrunk in view, a mere dot
Amongst many in the sand
They all watched, throat in knot
As she finally held in hand
Crumbling remnants of our beloved HOMELAND.
